Independent Power Plant (IPP)

An Independent Power Plant (IPP) is an electric power generation plant constructed and operated by independently of the independent power produced (IPP) that is not owned by the national electricity company. The producing electricity by the Independent Power Plant (IPP) which is not a public utility, but which makes electric energy available for sale to the third party such as an industrial complex and/or the general public through electricity grid.
