Lanthanide or Lanthanoid

The Lanthanide or Lanthanoid is the chemical elements that is the subset of transition metals characterised with atomic numbers 57 through 71, from lanthanum through lutetium: 15 Elements - Cerium (Ce), Dysprosium (Dy), Erbium (Er), Europium (Eu), Gadolinium (Gd), Holmium (Ho), Lanthanum (La), Lutetium (Lu), Neodymium (Nd), Praseodymium (Pr), Promethium (Pm), Samarium (Sm), Terbium (Tb), Thulium (Tm), Ytterbium (Yb). They make up the Rare Earth Elements (REE): Lanthanides 15 elements plus Scandium and Yttrium.
