Linear Motor

A Linear Motor is a type of an alternating current (AC) motor that has a stator and unrolled rotor instead of producing a torque (rotation) that provides the electric traction in a straight line, rather than rotary. The Linear Motor is useful in such applications as high-speed ground transportation. (Refer to the Induction Motor; Synchronous Motor)
