A Motor Control Centre (MCC) is an assembly of one or more enclosed sections providing the motor controls and electrical distributions that is used in large commercial and industrial applications, and consists of variable frequency drives, programmable controllers, and metering. The Intelligent or Integrated MCC (iMCC) can be defined when the MCC includes: a computerised control system; network technology; enhanced diagnostic or protective functionality.
