Metric System Prefix

A Metric System Prefix is a unit prefix that precedes a basic unit of measure to indicate multiples and subdivision of any unit: k (Kilo, 10^3) for Thousand, M (Mega, 10^6) for Million, G (Giga, 10^9) for Billion (but in finance B is for Billion), T (Tera, 10^12) for Trillion, P (Peta, 10^15), E (Exa, 10^18), and m (Milli) form Thousandth).
