Minimisation of Natural Hazard

Minimisation of Natural Hazard is a combination of geographic location, climatic conditions, and limited capabilities for natural hazard assessment and disaster mitigation activities aiming at the minimisation of natural hazards and impacts. They may include the following natural hazards: forest fires, floods, avalanches, landslides, storms, droughts, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
