Mitigation System

A Mitigation System is any active or passive system designed to reduce the effects of an accident or to make the effects of something less bad. The Mitigation System is a set of arrangements, tools or equipment, systems, or procedures that is designed to respond to an accident event sequence to reduce the accident consequences.
