Multiple Decision Problem

Multiple Decision Problem is the problem of choosing one hypothesis or decision from a set of k mutually exclusive and exhaustive hypotheses or decisions on the basis of some observations on a random variable. The simple problem of testing a statistical hypothesis against a single alternative is a special case of this, when k = 2. (Source: OECD)
