Neptunium (Np) is a chemical element with atomic number (Z) 93, group n/a, period 7, and atomic weight 237. The Neptunium (Np) is a ductile, silvery, radioactive metal that is extremely reactive, used in neutron detectors. It does not have any commercial application.
