Nitrous Oxide (N2O) is a chemical compound, an oxide of nitrogen that is a relatively inert oxide of nitrogen produced as a result of microbial action in the soil, use of fertilizers containing nitrogen, and this nitrogen compound may contribute to greenhouse and ozone problem.
