Nobelium (No) is a synthetic chemical element with atomic number (Z) 102, group n/a, period 7, and atomic mass number 259. The Nobelium (No) is the second transferium element with the most stable isotope 259Md having a half-life of 58 minutes, named after Alfred Nobel, Swedish chemist, industrialist and founder of the Nobel Prizes.
