Ozone Hole

The Ozone Hole is an area of the atmosphere where the ozone layer is particularly thin or absent that attributed to chemical actions of CFCs and other atmospheric pollutants. The resulting increase in ultraviolet light at ground level gives rise to an increased risk of skin cancer.
