The Platform Economy is an economy based on digital platforms that uses algorithms to link buyers and sellers focused on anything powered by online platforms. The Platform Economy is the economic and social activity facilitated by platforms that is typically online sales or technology frameworks such as Airbnb, Uber, Amazon, Google, Salesforce, and Facebook.
