Preventive Safeguard

A Preventive Safeguard is the initiating event to stop the event from developing further into an incident by which the hazards evaluation of an incident sequence, a preventive barrier is in between the initiating event and a loss event. Effective controls of workplace hazards; help avoid injuries, illnesses, and incidents; minimise or eliminate safety and health risks; and help employers provide workers with safe and healthful working conditions.
