Psychosis

Psychosis is a mental state in which an individual’s contact with reality and thus their ability to relate to other people and their environment is impaired. It is often caused by false ideas and visions and can result in bizarre behaviors and incoherence. It is a symptom of several disorders such as schizophrenia and depression.
