Radiation Therapy (or Radiotherapy)

Radiation Therapy (or Radiotherapy) is the use of high-energy radiation from x-rays, gamma rays, neutrons, protons, and other sources to kill cancer cells and shrink tumours. The Radiation Therapy procedures are intended to kill cancerous tissue or reduce the size of a tumour, therapeutic doses may also be used to reduce pain or treat benign conditions.
