Security Vulnerability Analysis (SVA)

A Security Vulnerability Analysis (SVA) is the process of determining the likelihood of an adversary successfully exploiting a weakness and the resulting degree of damage or impact. A SVA is the risk of deliberate acts that may cause the release of highly hazardous chemicals from a process facility may dominate the risk from accidental releases unless it is properly managed.
