Solar Thermal Electric System

A Solar Thermal Electric System is a system of energy conversion technologies that converts the solar energy to electricity. The Solar Thermal Electric System is designed to convert the incident solar radiation into usable heat using energy collectors designed mirrors, lenses, heat exchangers, which would concentrate the radiant energy from the sun and transfer it to a carrier fluid. Then the heat-transfer fluid is heated and circulated in the receiver and used to produce steam. The steam is converted into mechanical energy in a turbine, which powers a generator to produce electricity.
