Subscription Business

Subscription Business is the new business model in which traditional pay-per-product (or service) companies are moving toward subscription-based business models: a customer pays a recurring price at regular intervals for access to a product or service. The Subscription Companies provide software (Solution as a Service – SaaS), books, media & entertainment (HBO, Netflix), and car makers, also startup as recurring revenue subscription businesses. The model was pioneered by publishers of books and periodicals in the 17th century, and is now used by many business areas including the innovations around the Internet of things (IoT).
