Tariff Quota

A Tariff Quota is a quantitative commodity duty-free or at a lower duty rate, while quantities exceeding the quota are subject to a higher duty rate that may be distinguished from import quotas. Tariff Quota is a safeguard measure providing for a quota within which a determined customs duty shall apply, with a different customs duty applying to goods imported outside of such quota in which the lower tariff rate applies to imports within the quota.
