Tertiary Extraction (or Enhanced Extraction)

Tertiary Extraction (or Enhanced Extraction) is the final stage of oil extraction that is applied to increase the liquidity of the oil including thermal recovery, gas injection, chemical flooding, or oil eating bacteria. are being used in this step to increase the mobility of the oil in order to increase extraction. The Tertiary Extraction (or Enhanced Extraction) accounts for 5 to 15% of the total amount that can be recovered from a well. (Refer to the Petroleum Extraction)
