Throttle Valve

A Throttle Valve is a valve designed to regulate the supply of a fluid (as steam or gas and air) to a combustion engine that is used to control the amount of air-fuel mixture supplying to a cylinder. An engine power can be increased or decreased by the restriction of inlet fluid by the use of a throttle, but usually decreased.
