Toxic Gas

Toxic Gas is the hazardous material that can be present in a confined space by using toxic substances as part of the production process. The Toxic Gas is immediately dangerous to life and health that can be fatal at relatively low concentrations, such as phosgene or hydrogen sulphide.

Toxic Gas (NFPA 55: Standard for the Storage, Use, and Handling of Compressed Gases and Cryogenic Fluids in Portable and Stationary Containers, Cylinders, and Tanks) – A gas having a health hazard rating of 3 or 4 as defined in NFPA 704.
