Trihalomethane (THM)

Trihalomethane (THM) is an organic chemical in which three of the four hydrogen atoms of methane (CH4) are replaced by halogen atoms that often occurs in drinking water as a result of chlorine treatment for disinfectant purposes, therefore known as disinfection by-products.
