Tritium (T)

Tritium (T) is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen that contains one proton and two neutrons, whereas the nucleus of protium contains one proton and no neutrons. Naturally occurring tritium is extremely rare on Earth, decays by emitting beta particles and has a half-life of about 12.5 years. (Refer to the Chemical Element; Periodic Table)
