Universal Solvent

A Universal Solvent is water that is capable of dissolving a variety of different substances because it dissolves more substances than any other liquid and for its invaluable medicinal property, either through the ground or through our bodies, it takes along valuable chemicals, minerals, and nutrients. The polar solvents dissolve polar molecules, and nonpolar solvents dissolve nonpolar molecules. (Refer to the Alkahest)
