Utility Head Diagram (UHD) or UFD (Utility Flow Diagram)

A Utility Head Diagram (UHD) or UFD (Utility Flow Diagram) is the distribution of utilities (e.g., Condensate; Water; Fuel; Air; Nitrogen; Hot Oil & Cold Oil System; Flare and Blow-down, etc.) for plant operation that shows main distribution and collection headers and finger headers with the isolating facilities and instrumentation. An UHD (or UFD) is the utility Process Flow Diagram (PFD) or utility P&ID that depends on the complexity. (Refer to the UDD (Utility Distribution Diagram))
