Zirconium (Zr)

Zirconium (Zr) is a chemical element with atomic number (Z) 40, group 4, period 5, and atomic weight 91.224. The Zirconium (Zr) is a very strong, ductile, lustrous silver-gray metal, used in alloys such as zircaloy, which is used in nuclear applications since it does not readily absorb neutrons.
