Welding is a way of joining two or more pieces of metals or thermoplastics to make them act as a single piece, usually through the application of heat. The Welding techniques were discovered during efforts to manipulate iron into useful shapes in the 1st Century. The Welding types are: MIG welding; Arc welding; TIG welding; Plasma Arc welding; Electron Beam and Laser welding; Gas welding, etc.
