Welding Electrode Classification

A Welding Electrode Classification is a five-digit number with the prefix E (Electrode) by which each number and letter corresponds with a piece of information, including recommended welding position, tensile strength and penetration depth defined by the American Welding Society (AWS); The Welding Electrode Classification consists of: E (Electrode)+2 digits (Tensile Strength)+1 digit (Position)+1 digit (Type of Coating and Current).
