Abel Tester

An Abel Tester is a laboratory instrument of the closed cup flash tester that works by heating a small sample of the liquid in a closed cup until its vapours ignite when exposed to an open flame. The Abel Tester is used to test the flash point of kerosene and other potential hazards of liquid which have a flash point of -30°C ~ 70°C. The flash point is the lowest temperature at which the vapours of a liquid will ignite when exposed to an open flame or another ignition source.
