Alkene (CnH2n, Olefin)

An Alkene (CnH2n, Olefin) is an unsaturated hydrocarbon includes at least one double bond. This double bond displaces two hydrogen atoms, which means that alkenes do not have the maximum number of hydrogen atoms per carbon and are hence termed unsaturated.
