Bribery

Bribery is the crime of giving someone money or something else of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in charge of a public or legal duty. (Refer to the Active Bribery or Active Corruption; Passive Bribery)

Bribery does not have to involve cash or an actual payment exchanging hands and can take many forms such as a gift, lavish treatment during a business trip or tickets to an event.
