Budget Shift

Budget Shift is a reallocation or recast of the original estimate execution basis to the subsequently evolved actual plan of execution. The Budget Shift is required careful consideration and planning to ensure the reallocation of funds is aligned with the organisation's overall strategy and goals and should be communicated effectively within the organisation to stakeholders impacted by the changes. There is no change in scope or total investment cost (TIC).
