Darcy is an International Standard unit (SI) of measure of permeability named after Henry Darcy. One Darcy describes the permeability of a porous medium: one cm^3 of fluid having one centipoise of viscosity flowing in one second under a pressure differential of one atmosphere where the porous medium has a cross-sectional area of one cm^2 and a length of one cm.
