Ecosystem Product

An Ecosystem Product is the benefits human populations derive, directly or indirectly, from ecosystem functions that describes how the design of manufactured products evolves over time and draws parallels with how species evolve within a natural ecosystem. Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP) aims to specific indicators to measure the total economic value of all ecosystem goods (food, etc.) and services (waste assimilation, etc.).
