Emergency Preparedness

Emergency Preparedness is definied by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) as a continuous cycle of planning, organising, training, equipping, exercising, evaluating, and taking corrective action that ensures the effective coordination during incident response. The Emergency Preparedness includes the programs, plans, training, exercises, and resources necessary to preparing emergency personnel to rapidly identify, evaluate, and react to emergencies.
