Fatal Accident Rate (FAR)

Fatal Accident Rate (FAR) is an indicator of accidents used to classify the dangerousness that is a measure of individual risk expressed as the estimated number of fatalities per 100 million hours (approximately 1000 employees working lifetimes) of this same activity. Number of Fatalities = Fatal Accident Rate * Number of Employees * Time * Number of Day / 10^8
