Financial Intermediation

Financial Intermediation is a productive activity through the investment in which an institutional organisation takes in funds from a depositor and then lend them out to a borrower. The Financial Intermediary including commercial banks, investment banks, stockbrokers, investment funds, and stock exchanges are an institution or individual that serves as a channel fund from lenders to borrowers by intermediating between them.
