Firmware is a programmable content in electronic hardware devices including mobile phones, remote controllers and medical devices that provides instructions to the device on how to operate, and is embedded in a piece of hardware. The Firmware is the computer programs and procedures programmed onto a card or board and inserted into or fixed in a computer for the operation and/or maintenance of a digital system. Typical examples of devices containing firmware are embedded systems, consumer appliances, computers, computer peripherals, and others.
