Hydrogen Storage

Hydrogen Storage is a key enabling technology for the advancement of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. The Hydrogen Storage Technology can be divided into three main categories: Hydrogen can be stored as gas (requires high-pressure tanks (350–700 bar) tank pressure) or a liquid (requires cryogenic temperatures: -252.8°C at one atmosphere pressure) in pure; Molecular Hydrogen may be adsorbed onto or into a material (stored on the surfaces of solids (by adsorption) or within solids (by absorption)); Atomic Hydrogen may be chemically bonded (absorbed) - Metal hydrides and chemical hydrides.
