I/O (In/ Out) List

An I/O (In/ Out) List is a list document containing the instrumentation that is the communication between information processing systems: Inputs are the signals or data received by the system and outputs are the signals or data sent from it. An I/O (In/ Out) List is used to describe any programme, operation or device that transfers data to or from a computer or other device. An I/O List is a key deliverable document of the CSI (Control System and Instrumentation) discipline.
