IACS (Industrial Automation and Control Systems)

The Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) is a collection of networks, control systems, SCADA systems and other software and hardware systems that can affect or influence the safe, secure, and reliable operation of an industrial process. An IACS ensures the supervision and control of a series of processes involved in the production and delivery of goods and services, from assembly points that can be remotely operated or monitored, but the risk and challenges in enabling remote actions.
