Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is the business planning process that integrates across two or more functions (financial and operational data from across the organisation) in a business or government entity that is referred to as an enterprise to maximise financial value. An IBP enables companies to maximise their output by linking strategic plans with sales, operational, and financial plans, giving greater visibility of the relationships between resources, capabilities, and results. (e.g., IBP processes are: Sales and Operations Planning; Planning and scheduling across multiple plants in a factory)
