A Laminar Flow (or Streamline Flow) is a type of fluid (gas or liquid) flow in which the fluid travels smoothly or in regular paths that occurs when a fluid flows in parallel layers, with no disruption between the layers. The Laminar Flow tends to flow the velocity, pressure, and other flow properties at each point in the fluid remain constant. (Opposite of the Turbulent Flow, in which the fluid undergoes irregular fluctuations and mixing.)
