Levelised Energy Cost (LEC)

Levelised Energy Cost (LEC) is the cost of generating energy (usually electricity) for a particular system that measures lifetime costs divided by energy production, and calculates present value of the total cost of building and operating a power plant over an assumed lifetime. (Also called as a Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE)).
