Natural Law

A Natural Law is a philosophical and legal theory that certain rights or values are inherent by virtue of human nature, and have universal application in determining whether human conduct is right or wrong, often contrasted with positive law. The Natural Law has influenced various legal systems and philosophies, particularly those that emphasise the protection of individual rights and liberties.
