Off Pattern Well

Off Pattern Well is a production or injection well that has a lateral or diagonal displacement with respect to the other wells in an injection pattern. The existence of an off-pattern well affects oil recovery and water/oil ratio. (Source: Schlumberger Oilfield Glossary)
