PAT (Portable Appliance Testing)

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is a process of in-service inspection and testing of the electrical equipment that is a term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure the safety of using. A PAT involves testing any movable electrical appliance such as computers, telephones, and kitchen equipment, and in manufacturing plants or commercial buildings.
