Performance Assurance

A Performance Assurance is a formal management system that is a set of deliverables with performance obligations and an absolute requirement of delivering a fully functional project to meet or exceed design performance for the term of the contract. The activities for Performance Assurance include the system design, operation, performance assessment, evaluation, analysis, decision making, and control. The Performance Assurance shall be deemed, for all legal purposes, to mean adequate assurance.

Performance assurance is normally an ongoing process to; 1) ensure that workers meet performance standards and maintain proficiency throughout their tenure in a position and 2) help identify tasks for which additional training is required.
